Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Caller states that landowner is clearing land at the end of Armour Cove without the proper permits. Nearest address is 7240 Armour Cove.
Shelby County Deeds shows ownership in a Ettehad Family Trust at 4220 Tracy Rd. Atoka TN 38004.
7/18/24 LJS inspected the site and found that 7 lots within the Armour Woods subdivision had been cleared of trees and made ready for construction. Each lot had a driveway and culverts installed. No erosion control of any kind was observed, but the cleared lots were heavily vegetated with grass and weeds. No sediment was observed in the street or moving off site. It appeared clearing had occurred at some point in the last 6 to 8 months if not longer. All the lots are owned by the same entity. Pictures were taken. LJS
I would advise that a compliance advisement letter be sent to the owner of the lots. It is clear that these lots are part of larger common plan, "Armour Woods" subdivsion and will be sold and developed at some point. LJS
8-16-24 Held CRM with owners and they understood that any further dirt work would require CGP coverage. They intend to sell the lots and do not intend to build on the lots. LJS
