Mr. Sims states that sewage in entering a spring on his property. He feels that it is coming from a leaking sewer line. Mr. Sims stated that the spring was flowing cloudy at a high volume with a sewer smell and foaming.
WPC staff (KVB) collected fecal and e-coli samples on 8 June 2012. Results indicate coliform presence ( >2420 e.coli and > 6000 fecal). Investigation of possible domestic wastewater influence recommended.
21JUN12 KVB called Mr. Simms to schedule sampling for the city of Sparta. Discussed possible sources.
26OCT12 KVB called Mr. Simms to find out if he saw dye passe through this spring from the NHC dye trace. Mr. Simms did not notice any. P. O. Box 851
