Mr. Tracy Humphrey, City of Johnson City reported an 8-24-18 overflow at 643 Walkers Bend Rd, Gray. The diaphragm of an air release valve broke on the force main. The valve was replaced and the debris was cleaned up. Lime was placed on the affected area. A written report will be sent to the Johnson City EFO. The report received on 8-28-18 indicated the overflow went from 5:00-5:35 PM with an estimated volume of less than 100 gallons. The report indicated the following corrective actions: initial-"Turn off valve to ARV," and follow up-"Replaced ARV." The disinfection type was "Clean up & Lime."
