    Complaint Description and Writeup

4/24/2024 - WNL - Will Little (JEFO Inspector) received a phone call from residential homeowner on April 23rd, 2024.
Well owner stated they moved into the residence around the end of December 2023 – first of January 2024. The well has been pumping clay and large amounts of sediment since they have moved in. Owner has 2 stage filter, but has to change the filter weekly due to buildup. Water may also have a high iron concentration due to description – staining, slimy, odorous.
Well owner contacted Ridge 809 sometime around February. They waited that long hoping the water would clear up. Ridge 809 employee, Jesus, stated that he was sick, but would come out when could. Ridge 809 never came to the residence. Reached out again last weekend April 19th-21st – Not sure what day. Ridge 809 said they would be out on Monday April 22nd, but nobody came.
William Watkins Drilling & Repairs #475 visited the residence to try to figure out what was going on with the well.

Pictures and write up attached in documents.

5/9/2024 - RWR - Spoke with Ken Gobell (pump installer) - he indicated that Breeding (well driller), and/or himself would be on site to investigate the well problems no later than Wed, next week.

5/23/2024 - WNL - Spoke with the well owners (5/23/2024) by phone. This conversation was to check on the water quality after the visit of Ridge 809/Gobell. The well owner, wife, stated that the well is still pumping sediment. The husband also stated that the sediment filter is still on the well and has not been moved. It is my, WNL, understanding that the filter was installed by the well owner and his cousin.

5/29/2024 - WNL - WNL performed a site visit on 5/28/2024. No sediment was found by using the outside faucets to collect water in a bucket. Iron is present in water according to staining and iron deposits in the bathroom. WNL discussed with the well owner, wife, on 5/29/2024 the option of a new filter being installed when her husband gets home and WNL will do another site visit approximately a week later.

6/21/2024 - WNL - Well owner cleaned/changed the filter on 6/18/2024. WNL will perform another site visit on Monday 6/24/2024.

7/1/2024 - WNL - Site visit conducted by WNL to check the sediment filters on 6/24/2024. Large amounts of a shimmering/shinning material suspended in the water. The water was very turbid by appearance.

7/29/2024 - WNL - Letter sent to owner by email on 7/29/2024 and mail on 7/30/2024. Letter uploaded.
