    Description and Writeup

They are seeing a lot of sewage in the creek you cross while entering their property. The creek begins to the north, going under the RR tracks to get to the Zoo property. They have heard some of the neighbors quite a ways up the road have been smelling sewage for a while. Not sure how long this has been going on.

Overflow caused by large grease blockage. Line jetted and cleared. Metro trying to find source.

    Michael,
Mary Bruce checked the DO in the creek at multiple locations.

From Mary: The DO readings were 3.34 mg/L just above Nolensville Rd., 0.95 mg/L just downstream of Paragon Mills Rd, and 6.46 mg/L at the confluence of Sevenmile Creek. The grey substrate extends all the way down until it reaches Sevenmile and while there I didn’t see any aquatic life- dead or alive.

We are working to cleanup the area between the manhole where the overflow occurred and the next one downstream.
