Complaint Description and Writeup
4/16/24: Complainant called JEFO admin team concerned about chemical tube running across the property from Blue Oval that is filled with cancer causing fumes and chemicals. Complainant has previously reached out to local officials and state leadership, but nothing has been done. Complainant stated if no response, will dig down and get sample to prove what chemicals they are being exposed to.
4/16/824: JEBr emailed complainant stating only water in pipe line currently is potable water. Ford has not yet connected to the WWTP. Complainant responded and asked about chemicals coming from KY to be processed at the treatment plant. JEBr responded that Ford and associated suppliers will have pretreatment program prior to wastewater/process water discharging to WWTP. WWTP will further treat the wastewater before treated wastewater is discharged into the pipeline.
4/16/24: complainant replied asking when area in driveway where settling has occurred will be fixed.
4/1724: JEBr responded that State of TN and/or contractor will fix settling issue soon.
4/24/24: Complainant emailed that a load of dirt had been delivered.
