Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant submitted a complaint to EPA Region 4: "Violation has occurred for a couple of days now. River water is bubbling up constantly 24/7. It is not a normal release of treated wastewater. Although the location is where the sign states release of treated wastewater. However, it is highly toxic and does not appear to be 'treated' wastewater by any means. It appears highly deleterious to fish and other wildlife. Please investigate at this location." Location is listed as the back of Burger King on Riverside Dr. at convergence of the Cumberland and Red River.
Investigation revealed that complaint location is Outfall 001. No adverse impact was observed.
