Complaint Description and Writeup
Complainant states in email.... Is there anything that can be done to eliminate the horrendous odor that comes from the Clarksville City sewage plant on the Red Rive, just north of Hwy 41A. Today we were going to eat at the Waffle House for an early lunch. Upon getting out of the car, we were revolted by the smell from the river/sewage plant.
We left and the Waffle House lost our business. Supposedly the plant was fixed after the flood of 2010, but it still puts forth a revolting odor.
10/21/2020 Spoke to Brian Shelton at Clarksville gas and water, he stated that one of two odor control pumps at the STP is down right now but they are working on repairing it ASAP.
