Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Statement copied from a complaint submitted through FormstackTN by Jenifer Lewis and forwarded to VDL via Email on 07-DEC-18:***
"For those of us that live on palamino dr clarksville tn: we have a stinky sewer issue. We've been told it's because the pipes aren't big enough to handle all the waste coming through them since we have grown. It would be nice to have someone fix the issue instead of trying to mask the smell and it's coming up thru our toilets. How can this be fixed in a timely manner and how can we be sure other areas of clarksville isnt or wont have the same smelly air. " ***
*** 07-DEC-18 I relayed the complaint to Mr. Mike Crawford, Clarksville's Collection System Operator, He said he would send someone out to check on the Ozone generator, it could be malfunctioning. I also reviewed overflow reports for the collection system and did not find any for Palamino Drive. I left a message for the complainant after speaking with Mr. Crawford to return my call.***04-JAN-2019 I followed up with Mr. Crawford, the ozone generator at the pumpstation upstream from Palamino Dr. was malfunctioning, they resolved the issue with the ozone generator on 07-DEC-18, and have not experience any further issues.***04-JAN-2019, the complainant has yet to respond to my attempts to contact her.
