Good morning. A group of us went canoeing/kayaking on Mill Creek on Saturday (before the 2" rain.) Our group included two members of Mill Creek Watershed Association. There was a section of the creek between Blue Hole and Haywood Lane where it smelled very strongly of what we believed to possibly be sewage. It was rancid. The odor began just upstream from a pipe and lingered just downstream from the pipe. There is a drainage pipe, maybe 36", that dumps straight into the creek. I've attached a pic but it is hard to see. The gps coordinates are 36.06009N, 86.67342W.

Metro water investigated and reported to us. ". Our teams investigated and confirmed our infrastructure was free and flowing just fine; however, in their search, they confirmed a cleanout from a customer service line was overflowing into a stormwater catch basin in the parking lot of 2400-2408 Antioch Pike. The customers were informed of the issue and our Service Line Policy Brochure was left in their care. If you have any questions or need any additional information, please let me know.
