Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Raw sewage flowing through a drainage ditch in a residential neighborhood, and into a major creek. Metro water services has been notified multiple times of the issue. After the last call (12-27-23) to notify metro water that the problem has not been fixed, and that sewage has been constantly flowing for 3 weeks, I was told it has been checked and no problem was detected. A problem has been admitted by them in the past, and a fix was attempted, but the problem has persisted off and on for over 3 years.
This complaint was forwarded to Metro Nashville’s water department who sent a crew to investigate. A blockage was found in the sewer main which was cleared and resolved the overflow problem. No issues were found on the private lateral line.
