Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Hi, my name is XXXXXX and I live across the street from The Overton At Brentwood apartments located at 4960 Edmondson Pk Nashville, TN 37221. For several days there has been a sewer leak at the sidewalk in front of the apartments. The smell is awful and Metro Water has confirmed it is a private sewer line belonging to the apartments. It is very unsanitary and is right across from Seven Mile creek. I have attached a video. Thank you in advance for your help in this matter.
From Metro Water: "Our teams responded and made contact with the Apartment Manager on Friday (5/31/2024) evening about their private sewer line overflowing. Sunday morning, we received word that their plumber resolved the issue and that they cleaned up the area of the overflow as well. I’ll be sending a responder for conformation this morning. Please let us know if you have any questions or need anything additional. Sincerely, Gerard Averill Water Services Manager System Services Division"
Site visit by Metro on 3-JUN-24 found the area mostly cleaned up, and would follow-up with Apartment to finalize the clean up.
