Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
WNL - Will Little, JEFO inspector, on 6/28/23 inspected a residential well in Angler's Point Subdivision located in Huntingdon TN. No 911 address at this time. During the inspection and later conversations with the driller and well owner, it was discovered that an electrician broke the well seal to connect power to the pressure switch. The electrician does not obtain a license that would allow him to break the well seal. Tooter Perry Constuction was the company/electrician.
Will Little spoke with C&J on 7/6/2023. Carl Johnson, Lic. # 1086, has agreed to leave his wells in a condition where electricians will not have to break a well seal, open the cap, to connect power.
WNL - 7/6/2023 Spoke to Tooter Perry Construction. Mr. Perry did not know he was breaking the seal nor that he needed an installers license to perform such work. He informed WNL that the company would no longer perform such work.
RWR - 7/6/2023 - RAB and RWR reviewed draft advisement letter to electrician.
RWR - 7/21/2023 - letter was received - waiting for reply from Mr. Perry before closing case.
