12-9-19: Crystal Warren, with the Division of Water Resources, received an anonymous complaint regarding potential pollution at The Troxel Company. The complainant stated that there is a crack in the wall of the containment area, and chemicals are overflowing into the storm drain. Also, the drinking water makes him sick when he drinks it.
12/19/2019: SO and TvN conducted a CEI at Troxel. No major NPDES violations were observed during the inspection. Did not observe major deterioration in the wall near the stormdrain. The stormdrain is connected to the wastewater treatment lagoons. Provided contact information for the facility to Drinking Water staff to determine if the facility needs to be regulated under water supply rules.
