Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint = Machinery working instream causing stream to flow muddy. AMM
On September 30, 2009, Bill Duffel and I visited a tributary to Spring Creek along Hwy. 79(Lat.36.62126/-87.23162) at the request of Jimmy Smith, upon arrival the stream had moderate flow and was very brown. We could tell there was construction upstream impacting the stream. Bill and I went upstream and discovered RJ Corman working in the stream at Lat. 36.616/ Long. -87.227. They told us they were installing a railroad spur for the Hemlock Site. The permits for this location are TNR1147019 and NR0904.163. I have some photos but they are dated 12/31/2003 due to an error on my part, the battery died and after replacing it I didn't realize the date on the camera was reset to the 12/31/2003 date. MAF 10/01/09
Write up: NOV will be sent to the Industrial Board based on photographic evidence submitted by MAF. ARAP violations appear to be occuring onsite, 10/9/09, JHD.
