Complaint Description and Writeup
1-5-2021: A customer Mr. Ronnie Moss called the MEFO/DWR because he has a man hole on his property, which he refers to. Mr. Moss lives in Moscow, TN and has been in his house for over two years. He stated that it is like a sewer drainage and backup problem. He has contacted the City of Moscow and they have not offered any help. In our conversation, he mentioned that when it rains it is like a water fountain in his yard and toilet paper and other debris/waste is in his property/yard which is unsanitary. He stated that he will be glad to meet with staff to show video and pictures that he has taken in the past.
1-5-2021: EKB contacted Mr. Jimmy Tettleton, the City of Moscow wastewater and collection system operator, and asked him to investigate the complaint.
1-5-2021: Mr. Tettleton contacted Mr. Ross and learned from him that, only when it rains, that the manhole in his backyard overflows. Mr. Tettleton informed EKB and Mr. Moss that he would CCTV the sewer line to ascertain the cause of the overflow and relay the findings to Mr. Ross.
