Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
Andrew Gipson Bridge that goes over the Cumberland River on Briley Pkwy. in west Nashville. The Ford Glass Plant backs up to the river and someone is dumping contaminated water into the river. The water is clear but looks like it has foam. It is rushing down the hill and into the drinking water.
11/13/2007, I went to the bridge and observed the company's 001 outfall which has cascaded there for many years. There was no foam and the water was clear. No problem, and the complainant obviously is not aware of the permitted outfall.
