Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint states:Katrina Bentley called regarding sewer/wastewater backing up into her house (she’s on a pump system w/city sewer). She said that she’s talked with First Utility of Mt Carmel and they’ve told her there’s nothing they can do. She said when someone has come out to fix the problem in the past, they only fix one thing at a time (for example, the condenser, etc). The landlord lives in Colorado. Ms. Bentley can be contacted at 423-963-5169 as she’s wanting to speak with someone on what can be done to remedy this problem.
Spoke with Ms. Bentley on 7/9, stated the overflow had been repaired but the alarm light did not work. reached out to Mt. Carmel, Cat Simmons, who had staff check and ensure the light was working. Mt. Carmel investigated on 7/10 and emailed results the same day. Contact Ms. Bentley on 7/11 to verify if light was now working.
