    Why do we continue to have yellow and/or straw tinted water from Smith Utility? This has been going on for months. Always get the same answer or instructions from them when reaching out to them on this matter. Customers are told “We’ve been working on the lines, so it’s going to look/smell like that.” or they tell us to turn on all our faucets and let the water run for a few minutes. Who wants to pay for dirty and stinky water to cook with, bathe with or wash clothes in? Much less pay for this terrible water to just go straight down our drains into our sewer systems and then get charged more for that, too? Please we just need some honest and straight answers to the customers of Smith Utility District. We don’t want to become the next Flint, Michigan. We feel that our concerns are not being fully addressed.
