Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
overuse of pelletized herbicide in Pickwick Reservoir and some in the Kentucky Reservoir has killed all the vegetation and ruined the fish habitat and fishing. Wanted to know if any follow up monitoring of the fish habitat after the application of the herbicide was being done.
Stephen Turner returned my call on 9-8-20. He stated that TVA has not used any pelletized herbicide in Pickwick Reservoir this year and they have only treated about 28 acres total with another herbicide.
Talked to Brad again on 9-14-20. He stated he realized now that TVA was not using pelletized herbicide. I told him I would have Vojin call him to discuss the Permit terms and try to have Stephen Turner call him to discuss TVA's aquatic plant management program. TWRA, Tim Broadbent has called him to discuss TWRA's monitoring of the reservoirs. l
