Complaint Description and Writeup
10/9/2024 - RAB looked up company name of a formerly licensed driller due to a information request for a geothermal driller report. Found the company Jones & Stone Drilling advertising geothermal and water well drilling services although the licensed driller had not had an active drillers license (G & W) since 2022. RAB called number of website on 10/8/2024 and spoke with a Jones & Stone employee. They are not actually doing any drilling work. Ready Mix bought Jones & Stone, and Jerry Jones retired in 2021, but Ready Mix won’t let Jones & Stone take down the website because Ready Mix said that they may want to have a licensed driller at some point in the future so they can start drilling wells. They said that when they get inquiries about drilling jobs, they refer the callers to a list of 4-6 licensed drillers that could do the drilling.
