Complaint Description and Writeup
Complaint Description and Writeup
original complaint - There is a wall that separates some apartments from caller's parent's property, it is full of holes that allow water & sewage to drain onto their property. The odor & fumes are making caller's elderly parents sick. Caller requests to be informed of results & action taken.
On 9/8/08, MRT called Michael Butler, Portland STP, 325-6989. He said he would check it out. Steve Whitehead, Portland Public Works called MRT. He had been to the site. There is a drainage ditch by the wall w/stagnant water, doesn't appear to be sewage. Service line from 309 Oak St goes west, away from wall. Housing project on other side of wall. Their sewer line goes east, away from the wall. He has been to 309 before. The bathtub isn't use much. They were getting odor from a dry trap. He left his card & will go by Tues. MRT 9/9/08
MRT called Steve Whitehead, Portland Public Works, 323-1437 & left message. Whitehead called back. He had been at the Groves residense. Mr Groves told him he didn't think there was a sewer problem. Groves thinks it may be his AC unit. MRT 9/10/08
