All accredited asbestos and certified lead-based paint professionals, firms and training providers shall comply with applicable regulations set forth by the Department of Commerce and Insurance – Licensing and Regulations for licensing requirements.
Certification Status denotes: Active means an applicant’s application has been approved to engage in the respective applied for discipline(s) and programs.

Asbestos Individuals are accredited to conduct asbestos activities in the specific discipline(s) (such as worker, supervisor, inspector, management planner, project monitor, and project designer) which they have applied for (if qualified) involving friable and non-friable asbestos containing materials (ACM) and asbestos containing building materials (ACBM) in schools and public and commercial buildings as defined rule (1200-01-20.01 or revised in 0400-13-02).
Note: Accredited LEAs employees are only allowed to conduct asbestos activities at their specific facility location(s).
Asbestos Firms or LEAs are accrediated to engage in asbestos activities involving friable and non-friable asbestos containing materials (ACM) and asbestos containing building materials (ACBM) in schools and public and commercial buildings.
Note: Accredited Local Educational Agencies are only allowed to monitor asbestos activities at their specific location(s).
Asbestos Training Providers aare accredited to conduct asbestos training course(s) in approved listed discipline(s); such as initial, refresher and/or on-line refresher worker, supervisor, inspector, management planner, project monitor and project designer.
Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Information

LBP Individuals are certified in any specific discipline(s) which they have applied for (if qualified) to conduct lead-paint paint activities in target housing and child-occupied facilities for each discipline(s) such as worker, supervisor, inspector, risk assessor and project designer.
LBP Firms are certified to conduct lead-based paint activities in target housing and child-occupied facilities as defined in the rule, expect persons who perform these activities within residential dwellings that they own, unless the residential dwelling is occupied by a person other than the owner or the owner’s immediate family while these activities are being performed, or a child residing in the building has been identified as a having an elevated blood lead level, as defined in the rule (1200-01-18 or revised 0400-13-01)
LBP Training Providers are accredited to conduct lead-based paint training courses in the approved listed applied for disciplines such as worker, supervisor, inspector, risk assessment, and/or project designer.
