This past week the whole neighborhood has smelled like sewage, making me know(having lived here half my life) the the waste plant is dumping raw sewage into Beaver Creek, which empties into Boone Lake. My granddaughters and I were down there. Few weeks ago to look for the otters, and it looked so clean... It depresses me to think they decontaminate these waters every other month. It was suppose to happen e ahut down in 2006 I believe, and they just keep on paying their way out of it along w fines for dumping. It's absurd to think of how much slime and raw sewage is cakes on the. Bottom of the river... My grands cant fish there, nor wade, swim, canoe, or kayak in those waters....desease and who knows what lurk in those waters. Please reprimand them and check into the closure thatwassupposeto happenyearaago. Thankyou. No problems found. Division does not have jurisdiction over odors.
