He advised that Jason Newberry had sewage flowing onto his field from a nearby PS.On 6/1/10, MRT called Jason Newberry. He said the overflow was from Old Russelville Rd PS. This is one of Clarksville's designated overflow points due to the May flood. The overflow was from a MH near the Red River. The flood had covered his field & he thinks the sewage in the water destroyed his sod crop. The City wants to hard pipe overflow to Red River until PS is back up & running normally. He said this MH is U/S of his irrigation pump & would cause sewage to be sprayed behind a subdivision. On 6/1/10, MRT called Mike Crawford, Clarkville CS operator. He said the MH that was overflowing was <50' from the Red River. He said there appeared to be significant erosion in the field from the flood. They have portable pump & can pump all incoming flow during dry weather.MRT called Newberry back. Newberry said he had observed the MH overflowing while the pump was running. On 6/4/10, MRT spoke w/Crawford again. Relayed Newberry's concerns.Crawford said they had problems w/temp pumps including low coolant alert shutting it off & someone stealing fuel from the tank. They have also moved the pump intake to the U/S MH as it was clogging w/debris in the wet well. Crawford said they had been able to hard pipe to the Red River, a MH D/S of Newberry's irrigation pump.On 6/10/10, MRT, Saya Qualls, Phil Simmons & Ann Rochelle toured the Clarksville STP & CS to observe flood damage & temp repairs. The Old Russelville Rd PS was visited. There didn't appear to be any damage to the field from the PS overflows. During our visit an overflow occured at the piped MH. This was during dry weather, They had 2 pumps at the PS & were still adjusting RPMs & intake locations. Sign was in place but needs to be larger w/some different wording.
