JCA/TEG responded to the call and met TWRA on site. The source of the waste reaching the stream was determined to be coming from a traveling gun system spraying waste onto a field at the dairy. The system was continuing to spray while DWR staff were there, even though rain had been falling at the site for some time. JCA called the field office and had DAL attempt to contact Mr. Nash to instruct him to shut the pumps off.Waste was observed running to both Wilson Creek and to an UNT to Clem Creek. Employees of Mr. Nash showed up to shut off the pumps while DWR and TWRA were on site. The employees said that the system had been turned on about 7:30 that morning and had run until it was shut off about 2:30. The distance the gun had traveled in that time was approximately 600 to 800 feet. TWRA sent a text to JCA on 2/3/2018 showing that waste was still flowing in Wilson Creek.
