Notes
GWH with the Columbia EFO visited the quarry on March 25th, 2024, prior to meeting Mr. Mantooth on his property. I informed site personnel at SRM the reason for my visit, and they accompanied me to visit with Mr. Mantooth to answer any questions he may have about the operations at the quarry. The NPDES permit does not regulate blasting at the quarry and Mr. Mantooth was informed of this prior to GWH making the site visit. Mr. Mantooth did not like that I went to the quarry first before I met with him and that I also brought someone along with me from the quarry. I informed him that I had never been to the quarry and wanted to see it before I met with him . There were no issues found regarding the quarry during the visit. I called Daniel Lawrence after I left the complainant and informed him of my discussion with Mr. Mantooth and asked him if he could call Mr. Mantooth and he did.
