Notes
This inspection report is a placeholder and may be updated by KRS at a later date. The following information was entered by DPL based upon an email record from KRS.
Kevin Smith visited the site on Thursday December 1, 2022 and met with Mr. Lewis. At the time of my visit it did not appear a discharge had occurred from Sump 1 where SW01 is located which is located in the northwest corner of the site. However, the visit did confirm there appeared to be a turbid discharge that occurred from the sump located in the northeast corner of the site. There was a sediment film present from where the SW2 sump discharges all the way to the UNT to Sugar Creek. The film was present on the leaves and rocks in the UNT to Sugar Creek for several 100 feet downstream. Mr. Lewis indicated he would enlarge the sump and add some rock check dams. Mr. Lewis did this on 12-2-22. See photo report dated 12-7-22.
Follow-up inspection scheduled for 12-12-22.
Return to compliance: Corrective Action Plan complete as of January 20, 2023.
