The Marion Tipple’s NPDES permit expired May 31, 2021. Discharges from this facility are not authorized. At the time of inspection all storm water from the wash plant and coal yards were draining to the ponds for treatment. During the inspections discharges were documented at Outfall 001 on September 15, 2021. Outfall 002 was not discharging at the time of inspection. Facility was retured to compliance on February 1, 2022 when a new NPDES permit was issued.
