Notes
RML and DPL returned to the facility on 6/11/21 during a rainstorm in an attempt to observe the issue and identify a potential source of water within the processing plant. The issue did not occur during this rainstorm. While the receiving stream did become slightly turbid from watershed affects, no discharges were observed from the quarry and no significant seep of turbid water was observed from the streamside. RML and DPL spoke with Kevin Gaerke about the issue while on site. The facility intends to conduct dye tracing of internal water to determine if a hydrologic connection with the stream exists. The permittee intends to register the dye trace in advance.
