Follow up Inspection conducted to collect water quality data from Pond 2 and where the seep is flowing into the UNT to Bear Creek. I also checked to see if BMP issues noted during 5-27-21 Follow-Up inspection had been corrected.

The BMP issues noted during the 5-27-21 inspection had been corrected. Facility needs to closely monitor BMPs and make repairs as needed.

The seep was still flowing from the bank between the northwest portion of Pond 2 and the UNT to Bear Creek. The temperature of the water in the UNT to Bear Creek up-stream of the seep was a little over 4 degrees cooler than the water flowing from the seep. The temperature of the water in Pond 2 and of the seep was very close to the same temperature. It appears the source of the seep may be Pond 2. Facility and I discussed lowering level of Pond 2 so a more thorough inspection of the bank of Pond 2 can be done.

Facility is supposed to submit a Stream Remediation Plan for the UNT to Bear Creek by tomorrow June 25, 2021.
