Notes
Met on site to inspect added acreage from proposed modification. All drainage from the area will drain to existing pond/pit. Calculations for sizing have not been submitted. Haul road connecting Quarry 3 to Quarry 2 is not part of either permit boundary. This will be corrected as part of the modification. Also discussed was the possibility of combining Quarries 2 and 3 under one NPDES permit. This is fine by the Division and would address the section of haul road outside the permit boundary. A SW outfall will also likely need to be added with the haul road, as portions of this road do not drain back to either site's treatment system. Site was not discharging. Being marked out of compliance until application materials are received to address the unpermitted section of haul road.
10/20/22 Application materials received to include unpermitted haul road and combine BWI Quarry 2 to the permit area.
