TDEC staff performed a pre-mine inspection. The only work that had begun on site was initial grading for treatment structure construction. The only issues that were noted during the inspection were with the Hydrologic Determination associated with the site. The HD finding will likely change the permit boundary to exclude or provide buffer zones for the aquatic features identified. The findings of the HD assessments have been written up separately and already provided to the permittee. No other issues were noted.
