Notes
Inspection report documented absence of filter stone berm at southern end of permit area. This was an observation made from uphill and approx 200'+ away. Closer investigation was made by facility staff (2/17/18) at my request. Pictures were submitted that show the berm was in place, but covered by hay from horse feeding activity. Facility will inspect berm when weather conditions allow heavy equipment activity and horse owner can corral horses in different area. No corrective action required since BMP is in place. Recommended that facility staff request horse owner to not place feed on BMPs.
