Young Mill and Mine was inspected on May 17, 2021. BMPs were installed and functional. All treatment structures were operating and site was discharging at time of inspection.
Samples were taken for TSS, metals, oil and grease, and low level mercury at DMP 001 and 003. WET samples from a composite sampler were also taken at DMP 001. DMP002 is currently not in use. The samples were sent to the TN State Lab for analyzing. The results came back in compliance. The WET test samples were sent to PACE Lab for analyzing. The results came back in compliance with 100% survival rate.
