A site visit was conducted on April 12, 2021. This facility’s NPDES permit expired on January 31, 2021. Discharges without permit coverage were documented occurring at Outfall 001 and Outfall 003 at the time of inspection. It is a violation of the NPDES permit Part II, D. Liabilities, 3. Liability to Obtain Required Permits, the Tennessee Water Quality Control Act of 1977, Tenn. Code Ann. § 69-3-108(b), and Rules of the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation 0400-40-05-.7 (2)(a) &(b) to discharge from this facility without the appropriate permits.
On site maintenance is needed to maintain BMPs. Pond 2 and Pond 6 both have spillways clogged with debris from beavers that are either partially or entirely preventing pond discharge. A crack on the embankment of pond 007 threatens the pond’s integrity. Refer to the 10-12-2020 inspection report for photos of 007.
