Met with Greg Greene and Alan Jare on site. We reviewed site plans in the main office and then proceeded to the site inspection. Water was discharging from Outfall 001. Water appeared clear with a a little cloudiness. Some lime precipitate observed at Outfall 001. According to EP Minerals staff, mining had not occurred at this site since the previous year. A TSS sample was taken, as well as pH. pH was at 6.51 units. Site perimeter was well vegetated. All water from active mining area is directed to the 2 stage settling basins. Area on southwest portion of site flows to the unnamed tributary. The UNT was also discharging. Water appeared slightly turbid and tan in color. The haul road appeared to be maintained well.
