On April 14, Mining Staff Dan Murray & Chris Pracheil met with JCEFO staff Joshua Boggan, Corey Click & Brianne Begley. To inspect the permittee responsible mitigation areas constructed for ARAP NR10MS.026. For the most part these areas appear to be developing well. However, mitigation Area 1 on Fall Branch has in the upper reach had the riparian vegetation removed and and been reseeded. The area was stable but concerned division staff as the permit plans indicated that this would be a twenty-five year "no disturbance area". As the ARAP has been terminated no enforcement was initiated.
