Site was In Compliance. Inspection was conducted as a routine inspection. Site was active at time of inspection.

Drainage at the site is controlled through basins or BMPs. Drainage from area that is being stripped is directed into pit area. Drainage from road that goes around the perimeter of the eastern and northern portion of the site is directed back into pit.

There was a discharge at Outfall 001. The discharge water appeared clear. I also looked at where discharge water flows into Steele Creek and there was no color contrast observed. The water in Steele Creek appeared clear and the discharge water flowing into Steele Creek appeared clear at time of inspection. DMRs have been submitted as required and have been In Compliance.

Facility discussed that they are wanting to move sump over next to eastern high wall and add a new outfall that will discharge into Spencer Branch. The discharge will be a pump discharge. Facility is planning to submit this request in a modification application.
