TDEC inspector, Becky Lenz, met with Derek McCoy and the ChemTreat consultants to discuss and test treatment for the ongoing cadmium issue. Potential treatment locations and ppms were discussed. Sample water from the seep area and the outfall were used at 5ppm and 10 ppm. Derek and Becky then drove to see the seep area, the pond, and then also the sump area which may be the location where treatment gets introduced to the system. This will be further discussed at the upcoming joint sampling inspection.
