A partial inspection was conducted to look at BMPs added to address the NOV from the March 2018 inspection. Disturbed slopes noted during the March 2018 inspection have been contoured, seeded, and mulched. There is now vegetation on the slopes. Silt Fence was also installed to prevent sediment loss past the permit boundary.
The levee of the existing pit has been improved. Overflow from the existing pit is directed to EP Minerals, Mine 1 in Mississippi.
