Delisted: The date the site was officially removed from the List of Inactive Hazardous Substances Sites (Rule 0400-15-01). Not all sites will have a delisted date.
DCERP: Drycleaner Environmental Response Program
Engineering Control: Methods that eliminate or reduce exposure to a chemical or physical hazard. Examples include fencing, multi-layer cap system, vapor mitigation system, etc.
Institutional Control: An instrument such as a Land Use Restriction that helps minimize the potential for human exposure the contamination and/or protects the integrity of the remedy.
Promulgated: The date the site was officially added to the List of Inactive Hazardous Substances Sites (Rule 0400-15-01). Not all sites will have a promulgated date.
Overall Site Status: For the purposes of this data viewer, the site status is defined as the overall status of the site within the Division of Remediation and is not the status of the site within an individual program.
Closed: For promulgated sites, sites that have been delisted. For non-promulgated sites, a No Further Action Letter or Letter of Completion has been issued to the Voluntary or Responsible Party. Closed sites may still have ongoing institutional and engineering control compliance reviews.
Open: Sites where investigative or remedial work is planned or ongoing.
Other Agency: Sites was referred to another agency (i.e. EPA, Division of Solid Waste, etc.).
Refer to Other Number: Site has been moved to another site number or the site has been worked on under differing site numbers.
Withdrawn: Sites within a program who voluntarily withdrew from the program.
